Madalyn Walsh

Madalyn Walsh is a current fifth-year student at the University of Georgia pursuing a B.F.A in Studio Art Education and a B.A. in Theatre. She is receiving an additional certificate in Theatre Design and Technology and will be graduating in Spring 2021. Madalyn has always been interested in the arts, electing to continue her passion in college with a focus on theatrical design. Deciding that a strong art foundation was essential for her theatre goals, Madalyn began taking studio art classes in her sophomore year of college. Originally only planning to minor in studio art, Madalyn soon realized that she had an undeniable passion for creating and teaching others. Since then, her academic focus has been Studio Art Education with an emphasis on drawing and book arts. She hopes to share her passion by inspiring students to become independent artists and encourages young artists to play and experiment with ideas and materials.
