The artwork below was created as part of the Understanding the City and Constructing the City lesson plans. Students learned about Song Dong's "Edible Cities" and Yin Xiuzchen's "Portable CIties" sculptures. Keeping these artists in mind, students became a city planner and told a story through their artmaking. These artworks were created in a Zoom Classroom but could be investigated in the traditional classroom as well.
